5. Turkish Tutor: Grammar and Vocabulary Workbook

Why is a “workbook” on my list of best Turkish textbooks?

  • Pages: 262
  • By Teach Yourself

Well, it’s one thing to just “read” things and passively take them in. It’s another thing to practice and do exercises. Reading puts information into your head temporarily. Exercises make the information STICK like gum under the table.

Note: This book is a bit meatier than the one before. You can choose either one. Both offer exercises. And for me, the more practice the better. As a beginner, I’d get one. If I wanted all the practice in the world, I’d consider both.

  • Strength: Exercises on grammar and vocabulary.
