5. You can learn with Russian PDF Lessons
- Time required: 2 to 5 minutes
PDFs are books you can read on a phone or computer.
In fact, most e-books (digital books) sold online can be read in PDF form.
So, if you have a nice collection of PDF lessons, you can open one up and read or review it. Imagine, you can take 2 minutes and read through some phrases while you’re on a bus or train. If you re-read that lesson tomorrow and later, you’ll master those words no doubt.
Best of all, you can save PDFs to any device.
How to get them:
- Click on the image below
- Download the PDFs you like
6. You can watch Russian Video Lessons
- Time required: 3 to 10 minutes
Video is another fun and easy way to learn Russian in 5 minutes a day.
The one below is around 5 minutes long.
Press on the video to play and press again to pause it.
You can learn with Russian video lessons on YouTube.
However, I recommend against trying to learn on YouTube. Why? Focus and distraction. YouTube is designed to distract you and entertain you. Learning requires focus. You might spend a minute wisely but some other cat video will pull your attention away.
7. Learn Russian with the free Duolingo App in 5 minutes
- Time required: 5 minutes
Duolingo is a free, flashcard-type app.
It is NOT a complete learning program and will NOT teach you all of the Russian language. You won’t learn to speak.
But, it is similar to the Daily Dose: you get small easy lessons.
It won’t make you fluent but it makes learning FUN and easy. That’s what makes it so powerful.
When I opened the app… they asked me how much time I wanted to learn Russian a day.
5 minutes!
Afterwards, you can learn words or phrases with their flashcards and quizzes.
My only complaint is that the images and the designs they use are atrocious.
Look at the picture of poor “Mama.”
Click here to visit Duolingo & get the app
Done!
Now you know HOW to learn Russian in 5 minutes a day.
Why is it so important to learn “the easy way?”
Remember…
You should learn 5 minutes a day because it is easy to spend 5 minutes reviewing some words. You can easily press play on a Russian audio lesson, listen and start speaking the Russian language.
Do you know why this is important for your success?
Because things that are easy to start, are easy to do and easy to finish. You learn some Russian today. Some Russian tomorrow. The next day. Then, 2 years from now, you can speak like a pro without sweating much. That’s how you get fluent.
Learning in 5 minutes a day, every day, simply works.
Studying for 3 hours every 2 weeks does not work.
Learning is like a muscle. You must flex it daily.
