3. Dad, thank you for everything.

This is the most commonly used phrase among native Japanese speakers.

Or simpler, you can try…
- Otousan, arigatou.

4. Please stay healthy forever.

You can use this phrase to wish your father good health.

5. Take care of your health and live long.

This is another good phrase to tell your father in Japanese. Live long and prosper, dad.

- Itsumo kansha shiteimasu.
You can use this for your dad or mom.
And you can couple this with another message. Basically, just a natural way to express your gratitude.

7. Father, please rest well!
- Otousan, tamani ha yukkuri yasunde ne!
Japanese men work a lot. And drink. But mostly, they work a lot. So on Father’s day, a lot of messages are thanking them for their work, for supporting their family, and of course asking them to rest. Like this one.

8. Thank you for supporting our family
- Kazoku wo sasaete kurete arigatou
- Thank you for supporting our family
This is another good message to use for Japanese fathers.
Again, since they spend a lot of their time working and supporting the family. Of course, you can also use it for mothers as well.

9. Take care of your health
- Karada ni ki wo tsukete.
- Karada ni ki o tsukete.
